Walking Down the Street, to Your House

I walked down the street and saw the people look at me. No matter the rain or the snow I'll get to your house. You're just too important to me to wait for the weather to change. They look at me and stare, but I can see in my mind you smiling waiting for me at your door. That keeps me going forward. I know if I keep walking I'll get there faster. I'm freezing to the bone, but I'll be better once I see you. I should have put on different shoes, canvas sokes so easily. I get to your door and you're waiting, Just like I thought. Once you invite me in they'll stop staring at me. Then they'll get on with their life. Maybe we should go inside now, my jackets a little to thin to stay out here. And once we're inside you'll keep smiling at me. Walking down the street, to your house 07 I Was A Kaleidoscope.m4a chris, cold, poetry, walking, walla
